Hey, I’m Lee. I’m a husband, dad to three wildly wonderful daughters, RBT, and the person who built the curriculum I desperately needed when I started out.
I've spent almost 8 years running social skills groups and full-day summer programs. I've built programs that generate five to six figures in just six weeks but honestly, the revenue was never the point. The point was watching kids who struggled to make a single friend walk out of a group laughing, connected, and proud of themselves.
But when I started? My first group was a disaster.
No structure. No training. No real plan. Just a room full of kids who needed real connection and me, completely unprepared to give it to them. I wasn't failing because I didn't care. I was failing because nobody had ever given me the right tools.
That moment never left me.
I went searching for a curriculum that actually worked. Everything I found was boring, vague, or built for a classroom, not a real group setting. No staff guidance.
No implementation support. Nothing that addressed what actually happens when you put a group of kids together and try to teach them how to connect.
So I built it myself.
The Social Pathway Curriculum worked. Providers bought and implemented it. Kids thrived. Children were finally getting invited to birthday parties. Staff told me they finally felt confident walking into a session. However, after a few years of running it, I knew it still wasn't enough. Kids were learning to participate in groups. They weren't learning to handle real life.
