LaunchKids Academy exists to help programs and providers transform how social skills are taught. We believe that children thrive when they’re supported, celebrated, and given space to grow through play, and that the professionals guiding them deserve tools that actually work. This isn’t just curriculum. It’s the culmination of years in the field, countless real-life success stories, and a mission to evolve ABA into something more compassionate, more human, and more effective.

Who the Heck Am I?

Hi, I’m Lee, creator of The Social Pathway Curriculum, husband, and proud dad to three wild, wonderful, endlessly curious daughters. They’ve been my favorite test subjects and some of my greatest teachers.

I worked directly with children diagnosed with autism, families, and educators as an RBT. I’ve run social skills groups, launched summer programs, and have seen firsthand where the field is falling short, not in effort, but in approach. Too often, social skills programs were checklists, not connections.

That’s why I created The Social Pathway Curriculum. It’s built to give providers and educators a ready-to-use, play-based framework that creates real change, not just in data sheets, but in lives. It’s designed for the kids who need trust before teaching, and for the staff who want to show up prepared, confident, and effective.

I believe in teaching play as a skill. I believe in centering programs around connection and dignity. And I believe that when you give professionals the right tools, they can help children unlock their full potential.

LaunchKids Academy isn’t just a brand to me. It’s the mission I’ve built with the people I love most, for the people who need it most.

This is WHY We Do It

Every smile, every breakthrough, every high-five moment, this is why I do what I do. These snapshots tell the story behind my mission, from my earliest programs to working directly with children. LaunchKids is built from hands-on experience, deep care, and a love for seeing children grow through connection and play. We hope these moments give you a glimpse into the heart behind it all.

  • This is where it all began. The very first child I ever worked with. His family gave me this note, and I’ve kept it ever since. It reminded me that this work, done with love, can change lives. It still gives me chills.

  • This was the first social group I ever led. I was nervous, excited, and completely hooked. That day I realized that this is what I want to spend my life doing.

  • Learning doesn’t have to stay inside the classroom. It was hot, the kids were soaked, and a local fire crew showed up to turn our day into a memory they’ll never forget. We invited the community into our program and the impact was powerful.

  • Moments like this remind me what it’s all about. Trust. Presence. Helping a child feel seen while learning something new. This is how relationships are built.

  • This little classroom setup became the testing ground for what would one day become LaunchKids Academy. A place where structure meets creativity, and kids feel safe being themselves.

  • This was taken while I was building the Social Pathway Curriculum—pulling from years of hands-on work to create something any provider could use to run powerful social groups.

  • The day I held the final printed version. A mix of pride, disbelief, and drive to keep going. LaunchKids is built from this kind of love and persistence.
